Some portrait sessions just flow effortlessly, and my evening with Tayloe at Indian Lake State Forest was one of them. The soft, airy light filtering through the tall Live Oaks made the perfect backdrop for her calm, confident presence.
Tayloe arrived right on time and instantly brought a warm, thoughtful energy to the shoot. She’s accomplished, studious, and interesting to talk to, yet incredibly kind and easygoing—an ideal combination that made every moment feel natural. Add in her athletic grace and photogenic charm, and the session quickly became a photographer’s dream.
Indian Lake State Forest offered its usual quiet beauty, with gentle trails and sunlit greenery framing each shot. The atmosphere felt peaceful, and Tayloe blended into it with effortless elegance.
